4 Quick and Easy Ways to Relax and De-stress

As many people have come across this problem, I would like to bring it out into the open: having so much stress and no time to deal with it. Well, I would like to give you a few suggestions, most of which will take up only about five minutes of your time. And at the end of those five minutes, they'll leave you feeling so good, you'll want to do it again and again! Note to everyone: some of these can be combined with little effort!

*Take a bath: Honestly, you only really need fifteen to twenty minutes out of your day to enjoy a relaxing, warm bath. The trick to the most enjoyable and relaxing bath is to make sure the water temperature is as close to your body heat temperature as possible. Anything colder or hotter will energize you.

*Light Candles:You know how people like to light candles for a romantic dinner, or for a bath, or the many other reasons that are out there? Well, lighting candles, even if it is just one or two, can almost guarantee improvement to your mood and help you become stress-free when you see the flicker of the tiny little flame. Want added stress relief? Pick a relaxing scent for your candles; a good one is vanilla jasmine. You'll be smiling happily in no time!

*Take A Walk:Even just a five minute brisk walk will release endorphins that you usually get from exercising. These endorphins are scientifically proven to boost mood and make you feel good, and you'll be much more focused when you're done. Plus, if you plan on taking up regular exercise, it's a good way to prepare! Just steadily increase the time you walk.

*Sunshine:For the most part, everyone pretty much knows the health benefits of the sun on your body and mood. But for those of you who don't know; the sun releases endorphins, similar to those our bodies release when we exercise, that are guaranteed to boost your mood. Also, the sun supplies our bodies with vitamin c, much like oranges, which makes it so we get sick less often and better quicker. So, spending even five minutes outside can give you the boost you need: just remember the sunblock!

All these things are greatand cheap ways to de-stress and relax with a tight schedule. Hopefully, for those people who just don't have the time to go to a salon and get a shiatsu massage, this will be very helpful. And remember- one easy, quick way to de-stress anywhere? Just stretch.
